Description.
Topographic map of DC built for Gensler, an international architecture firm. The map is about 5’x12’. The base frame is poplar and MDF with a cherry hardwood skirt to match the cherry veneer streets. Each block was carved out via CNC router, filled in with Laser Cut birch ply and acrylic, and 3D printed buildings ontop. The red buildings represent all Gensler projects.
